What’s up, WV? I’m back outside with more trends, but this time for WINTER 2023! You know it’s the cold season, so I need to keep you warm from head to toe. This winter is about comfort and oversized statement pieces.
Starting at the head, hats are in style and can keep your head warm. Some hats for the season are brimmed hats, wide-brimmed fedora hats, baseball caps, berets, and beanies. If those are not the hats you’re not into, try something in wool or felt material that is also in style.
Now let’s spin around to our body. Some coats that are in style are patterned Puff jackets, fleece, scarf coats, and vests. One popular outfit for girls is oversized sweatshirts paired with a vest and black leggings. Some trends for bottoms are two-toned or color-block jeans, black leather leggings, ripped blue jeans, and baggy jeans.
To keep our feet from freezing, the most popular boots for winter 2023 are platform boots, Cowboy boots, knee-high boots, combat boots, and ankle boots. In addition, a padded boot is super comfy and another hot item this season.
With fashion, what’s old is new and retro clothes are coming back. Colorful windbreaker sweatsuits and writing on jeans like from the 80s are back in full force.
Keep it very berry next year. According to Pantone, the color of 2023 is Viva Magenta, a crimson red tone that balances warm and cool colors. You can find this color popping up in everything next year, from shoes and accessories to home decor. So stay warm and stylish, WV!
