Coming to Beckley this Spring! Inner Sunshine Arts presents Black Girls Peace and Paint! This open-studio event series looks to combat mental health struggles for Black girls and women living in Southern West Virginia through creative expression.

With support from The Black Girls Dream Fund, we plan to host three paint and fellowship sessions leading up to a celebratory Ebony Ball and Art Showcase.

Through Black Girl Peace and Paint, we want to make space for Black girls to relax and use art as a healthy outlet for expression. We hope to create a space where they can leave the weight of the world at the door and be enveloped in love, creativity and a sense of safety.
