In the summer of 2022, Pamela Turner traveled to Cabin Creek, West Virginia, with her daughter, Victoria Wilson, and her grandchildren Gabrielle and Jonathan, to share stories of growing up in the coal camps.
She talks about their family’s history and community life, focusing on their grandfather’s and father’s experiences as coal miners while filming “King Coal.”
