Kevin & Kayln
The marriage of Kevin Dorey (a safety inspector for the West Virginia Department of Labor) and Kalyn Obiozor (the Racial Equity Fellow for West Virginia Community Development Hub) was celebrated on November 5, 2021, at the Venetian Estates in Milton, West Virginia.
This romantic spot was perfect for exchanging vows under a crystal chandelier, in front of their immediate family members. The parents of the bride are mother Karen Lyle-Obiozor of Charleston, West Virginia; and father and stepmother Ernest and Kathleen Obiozor of Naples, Florida. The parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Tim and Anna Laura Dorey of Huntington, West Virginia.
The bride wore a long-sleeved silk wrap blouse with a maxi tulle skirt. She paired the dress with a bone-colored Gigi pip hat, a black fur coat from The Local WV and black Suede Manolo Blahnik heels. Noha Bailey officiated the ceremony and music was beautifully performed by the keyboardist and singer Mark Price.
Following the ceremony, the newlyweds were joined by their immediate family members in an outdoor family style brunch prepared by The Venetian Estate. The brunch included chicken and waffles, eggs Benedict, shrimp and grits, hash browns, bacon and eggs served with mimosas, hot chocolate and hot apple cider. Following brunch, they cut their gold leafed cake with custom donuts provided by the venue.
