BSU Football Announces Free Admission to Season’s Final Home Game

BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – Bluefield State University Athletics is excited to announce that admission will be free for the Big Blue football team’s final home game of the season this Saturday, November 7, thanks to the generosity and support of Brandon Disney State Farm Insurance.

The Big Blue will welcome Elizabeth City State University to Mitchell Stadium for a 2:00 p.m. kickoff. The game-day sponsorship from Brandon Disney State Farm Insurance will allow fans, families, alumni, students, and members of the surrounding community to enjoy an afternoon of college football at no cost.

As an added game-day incentive, the first 100 customers to visit the concession stand will receive a FREE hot dog, with a limit of one hot dog per customer.

“We are extremely appreciative of Brandon Disney and State Farm Insurance for stepping up and making this possible for our student-athletes and our community,” said Interim Director of Athletics Ryan Bailey. “We want to see Mitchell Stadium filled with Big Blue pride as we close out our home schedule. This is a great opportunity for our alumni, students, families, and the entire community to come together, enjoy some football, and support our student-athletes. We hope everyone will take advantage of free admission and join us Saturday.”

Bluefield State Athletics encourages everyone to wear their navy blue and Vegas gold, bring their family and friends, and help create an exciting atmosphere for the Big Blue’s final home appearance of the season.
