History in a multi-level, intergenerational, mixed-genre event. 5 Scholars, 2 podcast hosts, and 6 Hip-hop MCs siphon an element of history through a podcast conversation (the Biz), then lecture expands the facts (scholars), and then Hip-hop MCs (rappers) spit original rhymes on the same topic. Think… Podcast meets Ted Talk meets Coachella. Event Date: Saturday, November 6, 2021 – Showtime: 3-5 p.m.
