West Virginia Creatives To Turn Label Meeting Into Live Cultural Event

Blending music, storytelling, and live creative energy, rising artists will transform a traditional label meeting into a captivating livestream experience designed to redefine West Virginia’s independent music culture.
The “Label Meeting” livestream, presented by Black By God and Where Dreams Wonder, is at 8 p.m. on Friday. This transformative event will be hosted by Myles T (@myleswherehaveyoubeen) and Shaad (@wristwonderz).
The live opens with a car-ride introduction featuring Myles T’s “Dear West Virginia” beat, setting the tone with ambition, movement, and anticipation. As the cameras roll, viewers will witness authentic behind-the-scenes moments: freestyling, conversation, and unfiltered energy from artists embracing their next chapter.
Throughout the night, the livestream will evolve into an active studio environment. Playlists will spin freely and beats will circulate, making spontaneous collaboration the central message: music can be created at all times.

The gathering will move fluidly between a listening party, networking hub, and creative incubator, allowing both artists and viewers to experience the process rather than only the product.
By 9:30 p.m., community engagement will be in full force with interactive moments like the “Noodle Game,” which will welcome new arrivals and amplify social energy. A designated Label Meeting Table will host rotating “Meet the Artist” segments led by Myles T and Shaad. This portion of the live will be set beside a barber chair – a symbol of culture, conversation, and entrepreneurship.
Cameras will constantly shift wherever the strongest aura emerges, emphasizing authenticity over polish. As the night progresses, artists will prepare for real-world collaboration and eventually transition to a late-night sound check around 11:30 p.m. The artists will preview beats and discuss next creative moves – a nod to classic music-industry grind culture.
The stream will close near midnight with celebration, reflection, and unity, punctuated by a dramatic “Saxophone of Doom” moment and motivational speech from all the talents. The goal is to leave viewers not just entertained, but inspired.
This creative gathering proves that music is lived in real time, not just performed. This is more than a meeting, the event stands as a declaration: West Virginia’s independent scene is no longer waiting for industry attention – it’s broadcasting its own movement live.
